How to Register for SAT 2024?

Step 1: Create a College Board Account

Visit the official College Board website and sign in to your free account. If you don't have an account yet, you can easily create one by providing basic information about yourself.

 

Step 2: Submit Required Details

Once logged in, provide accurate personal information, ensuring it matches the details on your photo ID.

 

Step 3: Choose Exam and Test Center

Select your desired SAT exam date and test centre. Remember, valid identification such as a passport or Aadhaar card, is required for registration in India.

 

Step 4: Upload Clear Photograph

Upload a photograph that meets the specified requirements outlined on the College Board website.

 

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

Complete the registration process by paying the exam fee using a credit or debit card. After payment, be sure to check out and print your Admission Ticket for reference.

Important Dates for SAT Exam Registration 2024-2025 (Anticipated):

• March 9, 2024 - Deadline for Registration: February 23, 2024

• May 4, 2024 - Deadline for Registration: April 19, 2024

• June 1, 2024 - Deadline for Registration: May 16, 2024

 

SAT Exam Fee

The SAT exam fee is $60 for US residents. Non-US residents are subject to an additional regional exam fee of $43, making the total fee $103 for Indian students.

Documents Required

On the day of the test, make sure to bring your original passport or Aadhaar card along with the printed Admission Ticket. These documents will be verified before you can take the exam.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellation Fee: To cancel your registration, a fee of $25 is required. Any applicable test fee waivers will be refunded.

• Rescheduling: If you need to change your test date, you'll have to cancel your current registration and register for a new test. Changing the test centre incurs an additional fee of $25.

• Late Registration: Registering after the regular deadline but before the late registration deadline requires an extra fee of $30, unless you qualify for a test fee waiver.
