ABOUT ACT

ACT, also known as 'American College Testing', is a standardized test that students appear for if they want to pursue undergraduate programs in the USA and Canada. Starting in September 2025, ACT introduced an Enhanced ACT format. The test is conducted multiple times throughout the year, with test dates typically available from September to July. The ACT has 5 sections total:

3 Required Sections (must take): English, Mathematics, Reading
2 Optional Sections (can choose to take): Science, Writing (essay)
