TOEFL, formally known as the “Test of English as a Foreign Language”, is an English proficiency test for those non-native English speakers who want to study overseas, in English-speaking countries. The TOEFL test is the most widely respected English-language test in the world, recognized by more than 9,000 colleges, universities, and agencies in more than 130 countries, including Australia, Canada, the U.K., and the United States. It also stands in need of other English-speaking countries. It is administered by Educational Testing Services (ETS) and is taken at various locations in India, as an Internet-Based test.
TOEFL score is often a benchmark for awarding scholarships. It is also mandatory for various Government agencies, licensing bodies, businesses, and many institutions. TOEFL score is valid for 2 years.
TOEFL has essentially two versions:
1. TOEFL Internet-Based Test(iBT):
The TOEFL Internet-based testing system test is taken worldwide where computers and high internet facilities are available. The total exam duration is 2 hours. Scores are marked from 0-120 marks and cover Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking that involve integrated tasks.
2. TOEFL Paper Based Test(PBT):
PBT is conducted where no computers and internet are available. TOEFL PBT (Paper-based test) has a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes but this is not applicable in India now.

Q) How long is an IELTS score valid?An IELTS score is valid for two years from the date of your test. This validity period is crucial for students applying to universities and colleges, as it means you need to ensure your test results are current when submitting applications. If you're taking our IELTS preparation courses, we recommend scheduling your test in line with application deadlines of your chosen institutions to make the most of your IELTS score within its validity period.

Q) How soon can I re-sit for the test?A candidate may re-sit in the IELTS tests at any time within 60 days of your original IELTS test.

Q) When will I get my IELTS score?For paper-based tests, results are available after 13 days. For computer-based tests, results are available within 5-7 days. You will receive a Test Report Form via mail, online, or at the test center.

Q) What is the cost/registration fee of IELTS?The IELTS exam fees in India is INR 17,000. The cost of taking the IELTS exam applies to both the IELTS Academic test and the IELTS General Training test. Whether you choose the IELTS on Paper or IELTS on Computer, the IELTS test fees remains the same at INR 17,000.
