What is PTE?
PTE (Pearson test of English) is a two-hour long online test made to test a candidate's ability to understand the English language effectively in their daily lives rather than focusing on testing high-level English proficiency. It is conducted by the same institution that conducts the GMAT and GRE and is accepted as a credible test to prove English language competency.
It tests a candidate's reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, and the test is designed so that each question examines two or more skills together. You can give it from the comfort of your home, too, with the launch of PTE home.
How to register for the exam?
One can easily book their PTE exam via Pearson's official website and schedule their desired date and slot. The process is pretty simple, and all you need to do is sign up on the website, book your slot, pay the registration fees, and you are all set!
What is the exam pattern for PTE?
PTE tests a candidate's English proficiency by covering 4 sections, i.e., Speaking, Writing, Listening, and Reading, which is tested in 2 hours.
