The Law School Admission Test or LSAT, as it is popularly known, is a standardised test conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) to assess the reading comprehension, logical and verbal reasoning proficiency of a prospective law candidate.
The test is an integral part of the admission process into law schools of the USA and Canada but is steadily gaining popularity in several other countries, including India. There are two kinds of colleges that accept the LSAT score in India - Associated colleges and Affiliated colleges.
The associated colleges are member institutions of the LSAC global alliance and offer the benefit of reservation particularly for LSAT India applicants. On the other hand, affiliated colleges accept applicants on the basis of their LSAT scores but do not allow the privilege of reservation.
