UK Universities Accepting Lower LNAT Scores

The Law National Aptitude Test (LNAT) is necessary for law school admissions in the UK. Some universities do not have minimum score requirements for LNAT. They let students with LNAT scores below 25 be considered. These universities use a holistic approach and focus more on  academic history, and  personal writings more than just the LNAT score.

University of Bristol

The University of Bristol views the LNAT as part of its overall admission procedure,where it accounts for 40 percent of the total assessment. There is no minimum score required. Those with good academic backgrounds and strong personal writing can compensate for a low LNAT score, making entry more accessible.

Durham University

Durham University does not have a minimum LNAT score set  to gain admission. The university uses the test to set apart applicants with similar academic records. The university focuses more on the LNAT essay, which significantly impacts the total evaluation.

University of Glasgow

The University of Glasgow has a holistic admissions approach and has not set a minimum LNAT score. They look at test results, grades, personal statements, and activities outside of school, so applicants are assessed on many things.

King’s College London (KCL)

Cambridge asks that applicants take the LNAT, but it does not have any specific minimum score set for admissions.. Admissions decisions are based on many factors, such as academic ability and writing skills, as well as interview performance.
