GRE or Graduate Record Examination consists of a computer-based standardized test i.e., GRE GENERAL TEST which is accepted primarily by the US and Canada for getting the applicants admitted in various Master and Ph.D. programs. It is also accepted by various Indian universities like ISB, Hyderabad for admission purposes. (However, many international universities in various countries also accept GRE scores.)

What is tested on GRE?

The GRE GENERAL aims to check a candidate’s verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing skills. It has mainly 3 sections, Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning.
