• Middlesex University Dubai Scholarships: This scholarship typically gives between 25% and 50% waiver on tuition fees and are awarded based on academic merit, early application, or specific country-based criteria. These scholarships are usually applied automatically at the time of offer, but students must maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout their course to retain this scholarship.

• Al Qasimi Foundation Grants & Scholarships: These are fully funded scholarships for students working on projects related to public policy, education, social development, and governance. It includes tuition fees, furnished accommodation for up to 12 months, travel/airfare, living stipend, and research support. Selection for this is highly competitive and based on the quality of the research proposal, academic background, and relevance of the research to the UAE.

• Canadian University Dubai Scholarships: It is applicable for the students applying in undergraduate and post graduate programs. These scholarships are often need-based, meaning students must provide documents proving genuine financial need, along with academic transcripts. Students must maintain a minimum GPA to continue benefiting from the scholarship in subsequent semesters.

Factors Affecting Scholarship Selection

• One should have a great past academic record especially in the subject they want to study further.

• The results of standardized tests like SAT, ACT, GMAT and IELTS may be considered by some universities.

• It is important to have a strong Statement of Purpose that explains your academic goals and how that scholarship will impact you.
